Suyo Long has its origins in Asia, but recently stretched all the way to this continent. Fruits have dark-green, bumpy skins with white spines (easy to rub off), and grow up to 15” long, 2” diameter. Curling at one end can be cured by trellising for straight fruits. Curious customers at the farm market this summer stepped right up for a sample, then filled their bags with great taste. ~ 35 seeds/g
