It may look a little...odd...but you’re guaran-teed to end up with one of the best tasting cukes you’ll ever eat! Suyo Long has its origins in Asia, but recently found its way to this continent. Fruits have dark green, bumpy skins with white spines (easy to rub off) and grow up to 15” long, 2” in diameter. Curling at one end can be fixed by trellising.

Et alors, qui veut essayer un p’tit quelque chose de différent?  Quoiqu’il ait peut être l’air un peu...bizarre…rassurez vous qu’il s’agit d’un des plus savoureux concombres que vous aurez le plaisir de manger!  Le «Suyo Long» est d’origine d’Asie mais a récemment fais de grand pas jusqu'à ce continent.  Les fruits ont une peau bosselé vert-foncé avec  épines blanches (qui s’enlèvent facilement avec un peu de frottage), et atteignent une longueur jusqu’à 15 pouces avec un diamètre de 2 pouces.  La frisure à un bout peut être guérie avec treillage, pour assurer un fruit qui est droit.  Cet été des client curieux qui ont visité notre marché agricole se sont d’abord présentés pour un échantillon et ont ensuite remplie leurs sacs de bon goût.
