1401-UT Brassica oleracea

(GREEN, LATE/STORAGE) 100 days from transplant.

Introduced by Burpee in 1887, and that same year earning a $10 prize for John Nogle of Plymouth, Ohio, who grew a head weighing 15 lb! Fortunately, the average size is 5-7 lb, heading up in late summer and holding strong as a reliable winter storage variety that's hard to beat.

~240 seeds/g
