We’ve all seen dinosaur bones, but skin??? The bumpy, dark blue-black leaves of Lacinato
Dinosaur kale are long and skinny with smooth edges—not like Ragged Jack (above). It may
look like dinosaur skin but, fortunately, its taste and texture have no resemblance (we assume)! Its
excellent flavour sweetens with fall frosts; very cold-hardy.
