A rainbow right in the garden! A chard commercially introduced by British seed company Thompson & Morgan in the 18th century. Stems of bright red, pink, orange, yellow, and white, with leaves of dark green. Add them as baby leaves to salad mixes or harvest them larger for braising, steaming, or stir-fries. Also known as five-coloured-silverbeet.

BETTE DE CINQ COULEURS  45 jours.  Semez celle-ci et un arc-en ciel brillera en direct de votre jardin!  Cette bette fût introduite sur le marché commercial par la maison de semences britannique Thompson & Morgan au 18ieme siècle sous le nom de «Rainbow Chard» (Bette Arc en ciel).  Lorsque T&M a laissé tomber la souche en 1970, le Club australien  «Diggers» l’a acquéri et revitalisé. Les tiges sont rouges, roses, oranges, jaunes et blancs avec des feuilles vert foncé.  Ajouter les petites feuilles («baby leaves») au mélange de salades, ou récolter lorsqu’elles sont plus larges pour braiser, étuver ou sauter.
